Iranian believers need ºÚÁÏÊÓƵs
It’s extremely difficult to share Jesus in Iran. Yet every day 2,000 people are giving their lives to him. They’re longing to know God. Will you put his word in their hands today?
Revival in Iran
It’s amazing to hear that so many Iranians are turning to Jesus. More and more people are defying Iran’s Islamist regime and sharing Jesus with their neighbours. But they need you to provide ºÚÁÏÊÓƵs in modern Farsi.
Christianity has been heavily restricted in Iran since the country became an Islamic republic in 1979. Back then it was mostly minority groups who practised Christianity, and while they were allowed to continue the Farsi-speaking Muslim majority were forbidden. But right now, in spite of the ban, as many as 2,000 people a day are embracing Jesus. ‘Even the Government admits that Christianity is growing and Islam is shrinking,’ says Nahid, who leads Iranian ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ in Diaspora. Nahid and her team haven’t been able to work in Iran since 1990, but with your help they’re providing ºÚÁÏÊÓƵs to this thriving flock of new believers.
